ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:
A tropical low is located over the eastern parts of the Victoria River catchment. The low is expected to be slow-moving today and Tuesday before moving westwards and into Western Australia from Wednesday. Heavy falls are possible across a broad area surrounding the low. Uncertainties remain over the movement of the tropical low and this will impact which areas see the heaviest rainfall.
Catchments are moderately wet to saturated in the Flood Watch area after recent rainfall.
River level rises, localised flooding, and overland inundation are possible in parts of the Flood Watch area, which may affect road access. Some communities may become isolated. Check road conditions before travelling.

Upper Victoria River
Victoria River below Kalkarindji
Fitzmaurice River
Moyle River
Katherine River (minor flood warning current for Nitmiluk Centre)
Finniss River
Upper Adelaide River
Waterhouse River (minor flood warning finalised Monday 2 February, renewed rises possible)
Sturt Creek District
Tanami Desert (rainfall expected in northern parts of the district)
Barkly (rainfall expected in northern parts of the district)
Flood warnings are current for the following catchment(s): Katherine, Daly above Douglas, Lower Daly, and Fergusson.
Flooding is no longer expected in the following catchment(s): Roper, Towns, Limmen Bight, Rosie, McArthur, Robinson, Calvert and Settlement.
