Flood Emergency Warning - Daly River 22 March

River levels at Daly River Police Station are likely to remain above major flood level for the remainder of Sunday into next week, with renewed level rises likely. The situation will be closely monitored and this warning will be updated as required.

A Flood Watch is current for parts of the Top End including the Daly River catchment. A Tropical Cyclone Advice and Severe Weather Warning are also current for parts of the Northern Territory.

Daly River above Douglas River:

Flooding possible along the Daly River above Douglas River.

Fergusson River:

Flooding possible along the Fergusson River.

Lower Daly River:

Prolonged major flooding is continuing along the Daly River with renewed rises possible.

The Daly River at Daly River Police Station is currently at 14.33 m and steady, with major flooding. The Daly River at Daly River Police Station is expected to remain above the major flood level (14.00 m) for the remainder of Sunday and into next week. Further rises are possible with forecast rain.
