ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:

MINOR FLOODING CONTINUING AT DALY RIVER POLICE STATION

Minor flooding is continuing at Daly River Police Station, where river levels are slowly easing.

Isolated showers and storms are possible across parts of the Daly River catchment over the next few days but are not expected to cause any significant river level rises.

Daly River above Douglas River:

River levels are easing along the Daly River.

Lower Daly River:

Minor flooding is occurring along the Lower Daly River.

The Daly River at Daly River Police Station is currently at 12.96 m and falling, with minor flooding. The Daly River at Daly River Police Station is likely to fall below the minor flood level 12.60 m overnight Friday into Saturday.
