As a result of continued wet weather, the Glen Davis causeway has been closed to through traffic.
Due to the heavy rainfall over the last 36 hours the causeway at the entry into Glen Davis is cut-off at the causeway. With waterways and ground water tables already charged due to the long period of rainfall, the water levels have risen above the causeway.
The Glen Davis Road is also experiencing defects in isolated areas. Motorists are asked to take care when travelling the road whilst repairs are prioritised in the coming week.
