Food economy at 2021 Mornington Peninsula Food Forum

MPSLogo_News.jpg

You are invited to join fellow agriculture, food and beverage businesses at the second MP Food Forum on 21 May 2021.

Since the first forum in 2018 much has changed locally and globally. Now more than ever innovative and collaborative approaches to business are needed to ensure our economy and community are resilient to shocks and stresses.

A fascinating program has been compiled around the topics of regenerative farming, flexible and resilient supply chains and 'growing' new farmers.

You'll hear from keynote speakers like Sally Ruljancich, co-founder of the Prom Coast Food Collective and Tanya Massey, lead researcher at Farmer Incubator. As well as perspectives from some of our most innovative and forward-thinking local businesses and individuals including Danny Almagor from Small Giants and Peter Aldenhoven from the Willum Wurrain Aboriginal Association.

The interactive program will be expertly led by local food writer and presenter Richard Cornish with ample time between presentations and over lunch to discuss, ask questions and form connections with your fellow food businesses.

The forum will take place on Friday 21 May 2021 from 9.30am to 3.30pm at Tyabb Community Hall.

A discount is available for MPP certified businesses. Bookings are essential and tickets are limited to 100, so don't miss out!
