Footage of North Bondi assault released, NSW

Police investigating a serious assault at North Bondi in February have released footage of the assault, as well an image of a vehicle believed to be involved, NSW Police say.

Shortly after 1pm on Thursday 16 February 2017 police and emergency services were called to Bidigal Reserve, North Bondi following reports of an affray.

A 33-year-old man sustained a number of lacerations to his head, and abrasions to his body.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to St Vincent’s Hospital.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently under investigation.

Investigators have released footage of the assault. The men involved are described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, and of solid build.

The vehicle involved has been described as a white Mercedes sedan. It was last seen travelling south along Campbell Parade, North Bondi, after the incident.
