The decision by the AFL and State CEOs to postpone State League competitions is prudent in light of the risks associated with the spread of COVID-19 among players, support staff, officials and spectators
While this will be very disappointing for the men and women footballers and the junior participants in the NAB League boys and girls competitions, the primary consideration must be health and safety.
We will continue to work closely with AFL Tasmania to ensure it has the best and latest information to inform this decision.
