It's the pointy end of the AFL season, and what better way to unwind after a weekend of footy than with a special author talk about the family dynasties that have shaped the game?

On Monday night, author Des Tobin will discuss his book, It's in the Genes – Australian Football Families, uncovering the rich histories and family legacies that have shaped the game across Australia.

Joining him is Harriet Cordner, AFLW player and member of one of football's most well-known family dynasties. Harriet will reflect on her experience in elite sport, the growth of the AFLW since its launch in 2017, and the future of women's football.

Copies of It's in the Genes will be available to purchase on the night, with a book signing following the event.
