Former Rebels OMCG member charged over drug supply, firearms offences and breach of bail

Strike Force Raptor have charged a former Rebels outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) member following investigations into an alleged criminal network.

Detectives from the Criminal Groups Squad's Strike Force Raptor established Strike Force Pavasovic to investigate the activities of criminal networks across Sydney.

Following further investigations, Strike Force Raptor executed a crime scene warrant and conducted a Firearms Prohibition Order (FPO) search at a home at Sackville, just after 9.30am today (Thursday 20 June 2019).

Investigators seized several items, including cash and mobile phones.

A 29-year-old man was arrested at the home and taken to Windsor Police Station, where he was charged with nine offences, including:

  • supply commercial quantity prohibited drug,
  • firearm found at premises – subject to prohibition order,
  • knowingly deal with proceeds of crime,
  • breach of bail,
  • excluded person re-enter/attempt to re-enter premises,
  • goods in personal custody suspected being stolen, and
  • three counts of possess prescribed restricted substance.

He was refused bail to appear at Penrith Local Court today.

Strike Force Raptor was established in 2009 and conducts proactive investigations and intelligence-based, high-impact policing operations to prevent and disrupt conflicts, and dismantle any network engaged in serious organised criminal activity.
