A former teacher has been charged with allegedly indecently assaulting a number of students at a school in Tumut during the mid 1980s, NSW Police say.
During 1980 to 1984, the 62-year-old man was teaching at the primary school in the area when it is alleged he indecently assaulted three children aged between nine and 11.
yesterday, following an investigation, police attended an address at Gorokon and arrested the man.
He was charged with 12 counts of acts of indecency and one count of indecent assault.
He was granted conditional bail to appear in Wyong Local Court on 24 May 2018.
Investigations are continuing.
