Four arrested after assault at Parramatta, NSW

Four men have been arrested after an alleged assault near a Parramatta licensed premises this morning, NSW Police say.

Police were called to the licensed premises on Church Street, near the intersection of The Great Western Highway, about 4.30am after reports a man was assaulted after he had left the premises.

The 39-year-old man was taken to Westmead Hospital for further treatment. His current condition is unknown.

Four males, all believed to be in their 20s, were arrested at Parramatta Railway Station.

They are assisting with inquiries at Parramatta Police Station.

Inquiries are continuing.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
