Four arrested after dumping stolen car in Fulham, SA

A man and three boys have been arrested overnight after police found a stolen car they were allegedly driving dumped in a car-park, according to SA Police.

Just before 1am, Western Adelaide police spotted a stolen Dodge Avenger speeding along Port Road at Croydon, the car had been stolen from Kilkenny Wednesday night.

Patrols did not pursue the car but sighted it several times travelling along West Terrace and Anzac Highway n before losing sight of it in back streets.

A short time later staff from a fast food outlet on Tapleys Hill Road at Fulham called police after seeing four males dump a car in the car park and run off.

Patrols quickly cordoned the area and with the assistance of PolAir located two teens walking north on Tapleys Hill Road who were arrested without incident.

Police dogs Iggy and Nero were called in and tracked down the remaining two suspects hiding in bushes in Mackardy Street.

The four suspects, an 18-year-old, 17-year-old, 15-year-old and 13-year-old all from Mansfield Park were all arrested and charged with illegal use of motor vehicle. The 15-year-old was charged with illegal use and breach of bail. They were all refused bail and will appear in Court later today.
