Four men have been charged following an alleged brawl and assault on board a train at Central Station earlier this month.
Officers attached to Police Transport Command North Central commenced an investigation following reports of a brawl on a train at Central Station about 11.45pm on Friday 11 July 2025.
Following inquiries, about 7.30am today (Wednesday 23 July 2025), police executed a search warrant at a house on Underwood Circuit, Harrington Park, where two men - aged 21 and 44 - were arrested.
They were taken to Narellan Police Station.
About 8.35am, police executed a second search warrant at a house on Bungonia Road, Leumeah, where a 24-year-old man was arrested.
He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station.
Following further inquiries, about 1.30pm, a 25-year-old man was arrested at Bankstown Police Station.
All four men were charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of other and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm.
The two men arrested at Harrington Park were both granted conditional bail to appear before Picton Local Court on Thursday 31 July 2025.
The 24-year-old man was granted conditional bail to appear before Downing Centre Local court on Thursday 14 August 2025 and the 25-year-old man was granted conditional bail to appear before Bankstown Local Court on Thursday 7 August 2025.
Police will allege in court the four men boarded a citybound train at Newtown Railway Station before they were involved in a verbal argument and assaulted three other men.
As the train arrived at Central Railway Station, police will allege the four men disembarked before a second verbal argument ensued and the four men got back on the train, where they assaulted the three other men again.
