Four charged with drugs following multiple search warrants, NSW

Police have charged four people after executing 3 simultaneous search warrants across Sydney’s Greater West as part of a lengthy drug-supply investigation.

Officers from Liverpool Local Area Command established Strike Force Lhotsky in March 2016 to proactively investigate alleged drug supply within the Liverpool area.

As a result of these investigations, officers obtained evidence relating to the supply of methyl-amphetamine (ice) and cannabis.

Shortly before 11am today, Strike Force Lhotsky investigators, along with officers from the State Protection Group’s Tactical Operations Unit, and South West Regional Enforcement Squad executed simultaneous search warrants, NSW Police say.

Police will allege a variety of drugs and $1000 in cash was located inside a home on Karoola Street, Busby.

A 28-year-old man and 23-year-old woman were arrested and taken to Liverpool Police Station.


At a home on Wonga Road, Lurnea, officers located more than 1kg of cannabis and methyl-amphetamine.

A 31-year-old man was arrested and taken to Liverpool Police Station.

Officers allegedly located 40 grams of methyl-amphetamine, cannabis and $3000 in cash at a home on Goulburn Street, Warwick Farm.

A 25-year-old man was arrested and taken to Liverpool Police Station.

All four were charged with supply prohibited drug, commercial quantity and refused bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court tomorrow.
