Four Men Charged in Bossley Park Shooting

Detectives have charged an additional four men following an alleged public place shooting in Bossley Park last week.

About 6.30am on Friday 21 November 2025, police were called to a home on Aberdeen Street, Bossley Park, following reports of a public place shooting.

Officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command arrived to find several shots had been fired into a home from an Audi sedan before it drove from the scene.

No residents in the home were injured during the shooting.

Following initial inquiries, police located the abandoned Audi crashed nearby at the intersection of Mimosa and Prairie Vale Road.

During a search of the vehicle, police allegedly located and seized an automatic firearm for forensic examination.

Detectives commenced an investigation under Strike Force Stagaar assisted by Fairfield & Campbelltown Police Area Commands, South West Region Enforcement Squad (RES) and the State Crime Command.

On Friday 21 November 2025, a 16-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man were charged and remain before the court.

Following extensive inquiries - with the assistance of South Sydney Police Area Command, Region Enforcement Squad (RES), the Tactical Operations Unit and PolAir - a high-risk search warrant was executed at a home on Phillip Street, Waterloo yesterday (Thursday 27 November 2025).

Three men, aged 20, and a 19-year-old man were arrested and taken to Surry Hills Police Station.

A search of the premises was conducted, and police allegedly located and seized more than $18,000 in cash, a Glock pistol, two gel blasters, rounds of ammunition and firearm magazines.

The 19-year-old man was charged with fire firearm at dwelling organised criminal activity, participate criminal group contribute criminal activity, be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner, possess DECCD to commit serious criminal activity and possess unauthorised prohibited firearm.

One man, aged 20, was charged with possess unauthorised pistol, possess unauthorised prohibited firearm and two counts of acquire etc firearm - subject to prohibition order.

A second man, aged 20, was charged with possess unauthorised pistol and possess DECCD to commit serious criminal activity.

The third man, aged 20, was charged with possess unauthorised prohibited firearm. Three outstanding warrants were also executed for robbery, stealing and domestic violence offences.

They were all refused bail to appear before Bail Division Cout 7 today (Friday 28 November 2025).

Investigations under Strike Force Stagaar are continuing.
