Four people rescued after boat crash - Mosman

Four people, including two children, were uninjured after their boat broke down and washed up onto rocks at Middle Head today.

Just before 3pm (Wednesday 18 December 2019), officers attached to the North Shore Police Area Command, NSW Ambulance paramedics and Fire and Rescue NSW were called to Cobbler's Beach, Mosman following reports a boat had overturned, after crashing into rocks.

Upon arrival, emergency services found the occupants of the boat had disembarked and were stranded on rocks, neighbouring the beach.

PolAir were called to assist in their retrieval.

NSW Ambulance paramedics assessed two males, aged 55 and 53, and two 12-year-old boys on the scene as a precaution.

All four occupants were all believed to be wearing life jackets.

The boat has been secured but was unable to be salvaged.

Investigations continue.
