Four teenagers injured in brawl - Malabar

An investigation is underway after four teenagers were injured during a brawl in Sydney's east overnight.

About 10.15pm (Saturday 29 May 2021), emergency services were called to Adams Avenue, Malabar, after reports of a physical altercation outside of a house party.

Police have been told the fight involved four male teenagers from the house party and a group of unknown males, who attended in a vehicle and fled the scene prior to police arrival.

The teenagers – aged 16, 18 and two aged 17 – sustained various stab wounds and lacerations and were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to hospital.

Their injuries are not considered life threatening.

A crime scene was established and examined by specialist forensic police, and a search of the area was conducted by the Public Order and Riot Squad.

Detectives from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
