Fourth man charged over Sydney CBD brawl

A fourth man has been charged after being released from hospital over an alleged Sydney CBD brawl earlier this week.

About 12.30am on Monday 1 April 2019, emergency services were called to George Street, near Park Street, Sydney, following reports of a brawl.

It's alleged two men – aged 21 and 23 – while crossing paths with another two men – aged 22 and 25 – became involved in an argument, resulting in a physical altercation.

Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command, with assistance from Kings Cross Police Area Command were notified and attended the scene.

Three men were arrested and charged with offences relating to the brawl.

A 22-year-old woman was taken to St Vincent's Hospital to be treated for serious head injuries.

About 3pm yesterday (Tuesday 2 April 2019), he was released from hospital and taken to Day Street Police Station, where he was charged with affray and refused bail to appear at Central Local Court today.
