Fourth Teen Arrested in Central Coast Break-Ins

Police have charged a fourth teenager following an investigation into multiple break and enter incidents on the Central Coast earlier this month.

In August 2025, officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District commenced an investigation following reports of multiple break and enter offences in Umina Beach and Ettalong Beach areas.

Following extensive inquiries, three boys – two aged 15 and a 14-year-old – were charged and remain before the courts.

Following further inquiries, officers arrested fourth teen, aged 15 about 11.30am yesterday (Tuesday 26 August 2025), at a home in Umina Beach.

He was taken to Gosford Police Station where he was charged with 19 offences:

* aggravated break and enter dwelling etc in company (four counts),

* aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence - deprivation of liberty,

* aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence – people there,

* attempted aggravated break and enter dwelling etc in company intend steal (two counts)

* steal motor vehicle (five counts),

* face blackened/disguised with intent to commit indictable offence (two counts),

* never licensed person drive vehicle on road,

* enter building/land with intent to commit indictable offence,

* possess prohibited drug, and

* breach of bail.

He was refused bail to appear at children's court today (Wednesday 27 August 2025).
