Fraud appeal, North Brisbane and Moreton

Detectives are asking the public to help identify a man to assist with their inquiries into a number of fraud offences across North Brisbane and Moreton last month, Queensland Police say.

On at least six occasions the man attended hardware stores at Rothwell, North Lakes, Morayfield and Carseldine fraudulently obtaining a Honda mower valued at over a thousand dollars.

It is suspected that these mowers may have been sold through buy, swap and sell pages and members of the public may recognise the man.

Detectives believe the man may be able to help with their inquiries and anyone with information is asked to contact them.

Investigations are continuing.
