Free Business Advice Services On Offer - Wollongong

Acknowledging the tough conditions facing small business at present, Wollongong City Council, in collaboration with Service NSW Business Bureau and Sarina Russo Entrepreneurs, is offering free Business Advice Sessions.

The one-hour long sessions are targeted at both new and established businesses in Wollongong and provide practical and personalised guidance and advice to help strengthen and grow your business as well as navigating these tough trading conditions.

"Whether you've got an established business or are looking to start out, these sessions are an invaluable way to have access to knowledgeable experts who can provide one-on-one advice that will help support you to navigate these challenging times,'' Lord Mayor of Wollongong Councillor Tania Brown said.

The one-on-one appointment includes business advice from coach Craig Condy from Sarina Russo Entrepreneurs as well as support from business concierge Lorraine Fenech from the Service NSW Business Bureau.

The sessions may assist with:

  • Addressing the current challenging business environment
  • Accessing government support and programs
  • Business planning and compliance
  • Starting or growing your business

There will be sessions scheduled across the year, with the first two sessions on Friday 20 March and Friday 24 April booked out following strong interest. A limited number of spots are available in the sessions planned for Friday 22 May and Friday 12 June and further opportunities are planned across the year.

Book your free spot via the Service NSW Business Bureau .

Council will also work with Service NSW to support the return of an updated the Business Connect program after it ended on 30 September last year. Sign up to Wollongong City Council's Business News to stay up-to-date on announcements around this initiative.
