Free Curlewis Street car park extended

Swan Hill Rural City Council has extended free car parking in the Curlewis Street car park until Easter.

Director of Development and Planning, Heather Green said the initiative was part of a package developed by Council to encourage people to come to the Swan Hill CBD and support local retailers and hospitality businesses.

"It's been wonderful to see more people shopping and dining out locally and taking advantage of the free car park," she said.

"It has been well received by locals and visitors alike," she added.

Ms Green said Council is delighted to now be extending free parking for residents and visitors to the region in the Curlewis Street car park, at all times until Easter.

"We hope by continuing to provide easily accessible parking, we will contribute to making the Swan Hill CBD a vibrant place," Ms Green said.

Customers are reminded to enter the carpark from McCallum Street and exit from Curlewis Street.
