Spring has sprung, and that means there's no better time to roll up your sleeves and get your garden looking fabulous for summer, and Campaspe Shire Council can help!
Council is making it easier than ever for residents to revitalise their gardens by offering discounted delivery for loads over 5m3 to enable those residents with small or no trailer to also access free mulch. Residents are already able to collect free mulch from Colbinabbin, Echuca, Gunbower, Mt Scobie (Kyabram), Lockington and Rushworth Resource Recovery Centres while stocks last.
Perfect for retaining moisture, suppressing weeds and enriching your soil, Council's mulch is made from green waste that's been shredded onsite at our Resource Recovery Centres, helping you improve your garden in an environmentally friendly way.
To make your gardening efforts even easier, Council is offering discounted delivery within the shire on mulch orders of five cubic metres or more. Whether you're refreshing a backyard garden or tackling a larger landscaping project, now's the time to take advantage of this great offer.
Campaspe Shire Councillor, Cr Tony Marwood said the initiative was part of Council's commitment to reducing waste and supporting residents to create greener, more resilient outdoor spaces.
"Not only is this mulch free, it's great quality and environmentally friendly. It's a win for your garden and a win for the planet," Cr Marwood said.
