The free garden mulch pick-up has been extended through to Monday 20 May.
Mulch is available at:
- Portsmith Transfer Station, daily 8.30 am to 5.15pm
- Smithfield Transfer Station, Monday to Saturday 7am to 5.15pm, Sunday 9am to 5.15pm
- Gordonvale Transfer Station, daily 8.30am to 5.15pm
- Babinda Transfer Station – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday 8.30am to 4.45pm (not open Tuesday or Saturday)
A voluntary gold coin donation will support the activities of Ruth's Women's Shelter Cairns.
Mulch is made from green waste received through the recent free drop-off period.
Please note that mulch consists of shredded green waste that has not been cured and quality cannot be guaranteed. Mulch is for domestic use only and can be collected via utility, trailer or light truck up to 4 tonnes maximum GVM.
