Department of Health

Frontiers funds ambitious, exploratory and ground-breaking programs of research that deliver treatments for serious and incurable health conditions through a series of linked projects.

Recent changes to Frontiers offer more opportunities for both new and returning projects:

  • applicants have an additional 12 months to submit expressions of interest (EOI) for funding. This extension adds a further 2 rounds of EOI assessment, with submission cut-off dates of 30 September 2026 and 31 March 2027, respectively.
