Police are seeking public assistance to help identify a man who has been involved in a spate of fuel drive offs in the Toowoomba area, over the past 18 months.
On nine separate occasions, the man has driven a white 4WD utility to service stations in Drayton, Harristown, and Westbrook, filling the vehicle and on a number of occasions a jerry can with fuel before driving off without paying.
The first two offences occurred at a Drayton service station on Anzac Avenue on 1 May 2024 and 22 August 2024, the third offence occurred at a Westbrook service station on Main Street on 7 November 2024, the fourth and fifth offences occurred at a Drayton service station on Anzac Avenue on 3 December 2024 and 5 February 2025, the sixth offence occurred at a Harristown service station on Drayton Road on 3 April 2025 and the seventh, eighth and ninth offences occurred at a Drayton service station on Anzac Avenue on 27 July, 28 August and 19 October 2025.
The vehicle the man is driving (pictured) is an early model white Holden Colorado single cab utility, with a light bar mounted on a white bull bar and a white ladder rack on the roof.
The man is using false, stolen or cancelled number plates, ET11, TLT1, 585EZA, 430RXP and 506YAJ to commit the offences.
The man (pictured) is described as Caucasian aged in his early 30's with an average build and brown hair.
