Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller with Matthew Harding's Antithesis (2012)

2 December 2019

Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller is proud to reveal that there will be three additional sculptures on the Liverpool Sculpture Walk, bringing the total number of sculptures to be installed from Sculpture by the Sea to 10.

"We listened to the people of Liverpool and we delivered something we knew you all wanted –quality public art," Mayor Waller said.

"And I'm so glad we can bring you more than we had originally planned. Ten sculptures of such high quality will have a happy home within the Casula Parklands for the next nine months or so.

"I can't wait to see how people react to the sculptures after the official opening on Saturday. These works are of an international standard. They are thought-provoking and invite a reaction."

"Remember, if you can't make the official opening on Saturday, there will be plenty of time to enjoy the works in a unique setting along the Georges River."
