A second man has been charged following an investigation into a stabbing in Sydney's North Shore last week.
About 1.20am on Wednesday 8 December 2021, emergency services were called to Willoughby Road, Willoughby, and found a 27-year-old man with stab wounds to his chest and shoulder.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition. He has since been released.
Officers from North Shore Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Following inquiries, a 20-year-old man was arrested on Thursday 9 December 2021 by North Shore Police Area Command detectives at a home on Camera Street, Manly. He remains before the courts.
As part of ongoing investigations , about 10.30am yesterday (Saturday 11 December 2021), police attended a bus depot on Stan Street, Willoughby, and attempted to speak to a man who allegedly fled the scene.
He was arrested a short time later on nearby Dougherty Lane and taken to Chatswood Police Station where he was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and shoplifting.
The Artarmon man was refused bail to appear in Parramatta Local Court today (Sunday 12 December 2021).
