Garbage truck, patient transport vehicle and sedan collide, NSW

Police are investigating after a three vehicle collision in Frenchs Forest today, NSW Police say.

About 7.35am today, emergency services were called to Warringah Road, near the intersection of Allambie Road, Frenchs Forest, after reports a garbage truck, a sedan and a patient transport vehicle collided.

The driver of the patient transport vehicle was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for chest and neck injuries, before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital.

Two women in the patient transport vehicle were taken to a hospital for medical checks.

The driver of the garbage truck and the male driver of the sedan escaped uninjured.

Officers from Northern Beaches Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

An investigation has commenced into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Police are urging anyone with information on the incident to call Crime Stoppers.
