GATINEAU - Canadian Heritage would like to inform the public of the street closures in effect in Gatineau during the 48th Winterlude, which takes place from January 30 to February 16, 2026. There will be no street closures in Ottawa.
No car traffic
When:
From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturdays, January 31, February 7 and 14
- Sundays, February 1, 8 and 15
- Monday, February 16
Streets affected:
- Laurier Street (between Sacré-Coeur Boulevard and Dussault Street)
- Dussault Street
- Notre-Dame-de-l'Île Street (between Sacré-Coeur Boulevard and Marston Street)
- Champlain Street (between Sacré-Coeur Boulevard and Marston Street)
- Marston Street
When:
From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Monday, February 9
- Thursdays, February 5 and 12
- Fridays, February 6 and 13
Streets affected:
- Laurier Street (between Sacré-Coeur and Dussault) and Dussault Street
Exceptions: emergency and service vehicles, authorized event vehicles, local residents and workers, and buses operated by the STO and OC Transpo.
