The City of Greater Geelong and Kardinia Park Stadium and Precinct are thrilled to confirm a landmark partnership with Kicks Entertainment to bring the annual Spilt Milk music festival to Geelong over the next five years.
Supported by the City, Geelong Major Events (GME) and Visit Victoria, Geelong is now the long-term Victorian home of Australia's biggest single-day festival.
On Saturday 19 December, a huge lineup of local and international talent will perform across multiple stages in the Kardinia Park Precinct for an unforgettable day of live music and entertainment.
Homegrown musician Erika Ever proudly joins this exciting line-up as part of a commitment to spotlight local artists and create opportunities for local hospitality, retail and music venue businesses to participate.
Since 2016, Spilt Milk has brought some of the world's most iconic artists to Australian audiences, hosting performances from global stars including Kendrick Lamar, Lorde, Doechii, Dom Dolla, G Flip, Tkay Maidza, Khalid and Sombr.
With capacity for up to 55,000 ticketholders, we're expecting more than 30,000 visitor nights to drive spending across accommodation, hospitality, retail and transport and a local economic impact of $15.5 million this year alone. On average, visitors spend two to three nights in Spilt Milk host regions.
Over the life of the partnership, the festival is set to inject $94.3 million into our local economy, attract hundreds of thousands of visitors from outside our municipality and secure 187,579 visitor nights.

With an iconic line up locked in to perform in our own backyard, I have no doubt that local music fans will embrace the festival this December and contribute to another sell out year.
Our region already has its own distinct music scene and Spilt Milk will pave the way for Geelong to become Australia's top regional live music and cultural destination.
