Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced today that the President has made the following nominations:
Navy Vice Adm. Charles B. Cooper II for appointment to the grade of admiral, with assignment as commander, U.S. Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. Cooper is currently serving as deputy commander, U.S. Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.
Air Force Lt. Gen. Dagvin R.M. Anderson for appointment to the grade of general, with assignment as commander, U.S. Africa Command, Stuttgart, Germany. Anderson is currently serving as director, Joint Force Development, J-7, Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
