Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced today that the president has made the following nomination:
Army Lt. Gen. Bryan P. Fenton for appointment to the grade of general, with assignment as commander, U.S. Special Operations Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. Fenton is currently serving as commander, Joint Special Operations Command; and commander, Joint Special Operations Command Forward, U.S. Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
