Geo-target appeal to locate elderly man - Rose Bay

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Rose Bay and have since issued a SMS geo-target message.

Kenneth Smyth, aged 79, was visiting family members in Rose Bay and was last seen at a home on Albemarle Avenue about 2pm today (Monday 15 August 2022).

When he could not be located by family members, officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command were notified and commenced extensive inquiries to locate him.

Police and family members hold serious concerns for his welfare due to health conditions, he is unfamiliar with the Rose Bay area and does not have a phone or wallet.

Kenneth is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 175cm to 180cm tall, with grey hair. He was last seen wearing a green jumper, a blue/green check shirt and tan coloured cord pants.

Anyone who may have seen Kenneth is urged to contact police immediately.
