A geo-targeting SMS alert issued by police has helped locate a teenage girl missing in Sydney's west.
The 15-year-old was last seen outside a high school on Hosking Street, Cranebrook, about 11.30am yesterday (Tuesday 18 May 2021).
Officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation after she failed to return home in the afternoon.
As a result of inquiries, including a geo-targeting SMS alert issued to local residents, the teenage girl was located safe and well late last night (Tuesday 18 May 2021).
