Georges River Council is inviting community feedback about the upgrade of public computers across the Georges River Libraries.
We want to know how our community uses library computers and what improvements matter most. This will help us choose new computers, software, and accessibility features.
Your feedback matters, whether you use library computers often, sometimes, or not at all. It will help shape the future of our public computer services.
The upgrade aims to bring modern, reliable technology to library users, helping community members access the digital tools and services they need.
The upgrade applies across all Georges River Libraries, including:
-
Hurstville Library.
-
South Hurstville Library.
-
Penshurst Library.
-
Oatley Library.
-
Clive James Library, Kogarah.
Georges River Council Mayor Elise Borg said Council libraries are more than places to borrow books.
"They are community hubs where people can connect, learn new skills and access important digital services," Mayor Borg said.
"As technology continues to evolve, we want to ensure our library computers meet the needs of our diverse community. We encourage everyone to share their thoughts and help shape this important upgrade."
The consultation is open until 18 October 2026.
