Get creative with myCampaspe calendar photography competition

Show off your photography skills and win a spot in next year's Campaspe Shire Council calendar through the #MyCampaspe photo competition.

Mayor, Cr Adrian Weston said this year we want to see lots of smiling faces enjoying the activities and amazing locations that Campaspe Shire has on offer.

"The calendars continue to be very popular with over 8,000 copies set to be displayed in homes and businesses located inside and outside the region," Cr Weston said.

"With new smartphones taking such good pictures, the competition has never been more available to everyone to show off what you love most about our great shire."

"Last year's most popular photo, by Amanda Wilson, was a farmer and their dog silhouetted by a sunset sky, proving the best shots are interesting and tell a story."

"In addition to your formal entry, why not get your friends behind you by posting your photos on Instagram and Facebook using hashtags #MyCampaspe and #LoveWhereYouLive."

"You are able to enter up to five photos with each winning entry receiving $50, a calendar and bragging rights for a full year. However your photos must be located in Campaspe Shire, high quality and in landscape orientation."

Photos from the competition will also form part of council's photographic library and feature in promotional publications, council reports and on social media.

The competition is now open with entries being accepted up until 30 September.

Competition rules and entry forms are available on council's website
