Get your tickets for Cowboys v Titans at Sunshine Coast Stadium

Tickets for the NRL pre-season trial between the North Queensland Cowboys and Gold Coast Titans are about to go on sale with members of the two clubs and Sunshine Coast residents having the first chance to secure their seats.

The match on Saturday, February 23 will be a Queensland derby to delight the crowds with the Cowboys playing on the Sunshine Coast for the first time.

The Cowboys and Titans will hold open training sessions at the stadium on Friday, February 22 and both teams also plan on visiting local schools and hospitals.

Tickets will go on sale with a special pre-sale buying window for members of the two competing clubs and Sunshine Coast residents available from 9am tomorrow (Friday, January 11).

Sunshine Coast residents looking to purchase tickets during this special pre-sale will be required to use the password 'SCLOCALS'.

General ticket sales will open at 9am on Monday, January 14.

Tourism, Sports and Events Portfolio Cr Jason O'Pray said he expected the special buying window would prove popular.

"I know there'll be plenty of local league fans, and members of both clubs, keen to get their hands on these tickets," Cr O'Pray said.

"Both the Titans and Cowboys will be deep into their preparations for the new NRL season and we'll get the chance to see some of their new faces, and some very familiar ones, right here in our own backyard."

General admission tickets are available at $20 for adults, $15 concession, $12 for children under 14 and $45 for a family of 4. Try Zone tickets are $35 and the grandstand seats are $50.
