Last Wednesday, 40 volunteers and staff from the four Visitor Information Centres in Murrindindi Shire took part in a famil (familiarisation tour) of the Taggerty and Narbethong areas.
The group had fun visiting Taggerty General Store and Taggerty Hall, Pack Saddling Australia, Saladin Lodge, Bonfire Station and BIG4 Taggerty Holiday Park were they learned more about the region and what these local businesses offer to visitors.
Held during National Volunteer Week, this event was a great opportunity to recognise and thank our amazing Visitor Services volunteers. Their warm welcomes and local knowledge help make Murrindindi Shire a must-visit destination.
