A girl missing from the state's central west has been located safe.
The 13-year-old was last seen leaving a property on Willow Tree Lane, Mount Rankin, about 4.45pm on Saturday (12 August 2023).
When she did not return and was unable to be contacted or located, officers from Chifley Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Following inquiries and a geo-targeted SMS campaign, she was located safe and well in Mount Rankin.
