Gladys Berejiklian promised transparency but opaque today

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian says "I can’t recall" the worst case modelling prepared by the Health authorities although yesterday she promised to be transparent.

"It varies and it varies and it depends on what the inputs might be and I wish I had a crystal ball to tell you".

"I’ve seen various versions of modelling and I can’t recall all the numbers but I can tell you this much".

Yesterday she was criticized for sharing uncertain positive scenarios such as Christmas opening and spreading false hope, and her Christmas dream was brushed aside by other premiers as "nothing to talk about now".

NSW recorded 1,116 Covid-19 cases and four deaths until 8pm yesterday, but the premier opened the conference again with celebrating the vaccination numbers, with 70% of adults having received at least one dose.
