Three teenage boys have been charged following an alleged break and enter at Paradise Point, Upper Coomera and a stolen vehicle incident at Bundall yesterday, 4 November.
It will be alleged, about 2am, police received reports a group of people attempted to break into a Finke Street, Upper Coomera address, armed with knives and bats, before fleeing in a white Audi TT and a blue Mazda CX5 after being disturbed by a 21-year-old male resident.
It will be further alleged, about 2.40am police received another report of a group of people attempting to break into a residence at Dobell Avenue, Paradise Point, armed with knives and bats.
The 59-year-old male resident was confronted by the offenders who allegedly verbally threatened him before fleeing the scene in the Audi and Mazda.
No one was physically injured at either incident.
About 3.40am, a 15-year-old Inala boy, a 15-year-old Salisbury boy and a 16-year-old Park Ridge boy were taken into custody on Boomerang Crescent, Bundall.
All three boys have been charged with one count each of enter dwelling and commit and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
They appeared in Southport Magistrates Court yesterday, 4 November.
Investigations remain ongoing.
