Police are appealing for a Good Samaritan to come forward after he came to the assistance of a woman in the Hunter Valley, NSW Police say.
About 7pm on Wednesday 11 October 2017, a man stopped on Oakey Creek Road, Pokolbin, to offer assistance to a woman who had been assaulted.
Officers attached to Central Hunter Local Area Command would like to speak to the man who was last seen wearing a high visibility work shirt and driving a white work utility.
Police are also urging other witnesses believed to be in the area at time to come forward and contact Maitland Police Station on 4934 0200 or Crime Stoppers.
