How would your child like to showcase their handmade products at the Riverside Markets?

The Macleay Mini Makers Market is an exciting new initiative from Kempsey Shire Council, Key Employment and Kempsey Riverside Markets, giving mini makers the chance to hold their own market stall.

Aisha Spokes, Community Projects Officer at Kempsey Shire Council, said the program is all about supporting and encouraging young creatives in the Kempsey Shire.

"Kids can sell any handmade products from silly slime to jewellery, artworks to candles, the list goes on," said Mrs Spokes.

"Show us what you've got, we'd love to support you."

With no stall fees thanks to Key Employment and the Riverside Markets, creative kids will look very professional selling their goods with a professional marquee set up, decked out with a table and tablecloth, proudly funded by Council. Children 16 years and under are eligible to apply for the Macleay Mini Makers Market program.

"There will be one stall each month and makers can opt to share their stall with a friend if they wish. We asked that you include this in your application form."

Spots in the Mini Makers stall will be offered on a rotational basis and makers must have a responsible adult present and provide and manage their own money float.
