Goulburn Mulwaree Council advises that new walking and cycling infrastructure works will commence around Goulburn Base Hospital from 24 November 2025 through to 20 February 2026.
Works will generally take place between 7am and 5pm, weather permitting. A short period of night works will also be required on Goldsmith Street to minimise disruption to the Hospital's Emergency Department. Council assures the community that access to the hospital and its facilities will be maintained at all times.
Construction will begin on Clifford Street and progress around the hospital precinct. The project includes the removal and replacement of existing footpaths, construction of new pathways, and kerb and gutter improvements.
During this period, there will be temporary disruptions to parking in the area, however disabled parking will be maintained at all times.
Traffic management measures will be in place and there will be an increase in construction-related noise and vehicle movements.
Council acknowledges the temporary inconvenience and appreciates the community's patience during these important upgrades.
