A medical practitioner is due to appear in court today, charged with sexual touching.
Officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command initiated inquiries following a complaint from a female patient that she'd been touched inappropriately during a consultation at a Bondi Junction medical centre in March this year.
Following further inquiries, police identified a further two women who allege they had also been touched inappropriately.
A 36-year-old man was arrested when he attended Waverley Police Station on Monday 17 May 2021, and was charged with three counts of sexual touching, and two counts of common assault.
The man, from Chatswood, was granted conditional bail to appear in Waverley Local Court today (Tuesday 8 June 2021).
