Just days after telling his daughter how amazing it would be to win a $2 million Weekday Windfall prize, a Sunshine West grandfather has turned that dream into reality by landing division one in last night's draw.
The Melburnian held the only division one winning entry nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4632, drawn Monday 1 December 2025. He looks forward to a neat $2 million.
Thanks to Weekday Windfall's Black Friday Double Your Win promotion, all prizes were doubled, boosting the usual $1 million division one prize into a $2 million windfall.
The gleeful retiree was completely oblivious to becoming an overnight multi-millionaire until we surprised and delighted him this morning.
"You're joking! Is it true?!" he questioned.
"Jesus! Thank you so much!
"I was just telling my daughter the other day that the Weekday Windfall prize was boosted to $2 million and how nice it would be to win $2 million. I can't believe it has actually happened!
"I don't know what to say.
"I'll have to call my daughter and tell her the good news."
The newly-crowned multi-millionaire was too stunned to make any concrete decisions but had one thing in mind.
"Gosh, I have no clue what to do. I'll just have to work it all out," he shared.
"I'm thinking I'll give it away to family.
"Thank you so much for this wonderful call."
His winning 18-game QuickPick was purchased at Ardeer Bottle Shop, The Avenue Shopping Centre, Shop 12 The Avenue & Corella Rd, Sunshine West.
Ardeer Bottle Shop supervisor Kelly Tran said she was honoured to bring joy to a local man after just six months in business.
"We feel very honoured to have sold a division one winning entry! Our intention from the very start was to bring joy and open opportunities to the local community," she said.
