Prahran police are searching for a thief with expensive taste after a $250 bottle of wine was stolen in Toorak last week, Victoria Police say.
A woman entered the Toorak Road liquor store and put a bottle of French wine in her handbag about 1.30pm on Sunday 20 November.
She has then left the store and made no attempt to pay.
Police have released images of a woman they believe may be able to assist in their investigation.
The woman is believed to be aged in her 50s, about 169cm tall and reddish-coloured hair.
She was wearing a navy top, patterned pants and slip-on sandals.
