Greensborough assault and robbery

Banyule Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following an assault and robbery outside a supermarket in Greensborough about 3.30am on last month (27 October), Victoria Police say.

Investigators have been told the two teenage victims were approached by two male offenders who made demands for their belongings.

Two bags, two wallets and a mobile phone were stolen before the offenders assaulted the two victims and fled on foot.

The first offender is perceived as Caucasian in appearance, about 183cm tall and aged in his late 20s with a slim build and shaved head.

He was wearing a black shirt with white logo, black jeans, white runners and a red beanie.

It is believed he was seen a few days later in the Greensborough area wearing a grey hoodie and black vest.

The second man is also perceived as Caucasian in appearance, about 185cm tall and aged in his late 20s with a slim build.

He was wearing a black shirt and black shorts.

Police have released images of two men they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries.
