Insurance Australia Group Limited (IAG) notes the article published in The Australian Financial Review on 21 September 2026 regarding the proceedings brought by Credit Suisse entities against Insurance Australia Limited (IAL) and other parties in connection with trade credit insurance policies purportedly issued by BCC Trade Credit Pty Ltd.
The article states that IAG and Credit Suisse have reached a settlement of those proceedings. IAG does not comment on confidential discussions between parties to litigation, however a settlement has not been finalised.
Consistent with previous disclosures, IAG's position remains that, based on anticipated recoveries including from insurance and reinsurance arrangements and other indemnities, any settlement of the Credit Suisse proceedings would not be expected to have a material impact on IAG's financial position or FY27 financial results.
